  1. HI all! Yesterday, after I came Home from the doctor, I said about doing all kinds of medical emails and looking up stuff on the web trying to get my INR. Machine strips. Not even sure what I did that was so tiring but I ended up forgetting to take my dinner time meds and my bedtime meds. We ended up getting japanese food delivered and then I ate dh's half portion because he had already put half of it on his plate instead of eating my own meal which I hadn't even started. And I went to bed at 10 o'clock and, of course, woke up at 2 something, in pain and needing to go to bathroom. Got back to bed at for something and slept till seven fifteen. Done Breakfast and morning buds Shower and touching up color on my hair Taking out the heavy ironing board, Squeezing into space between the laundry machine and the wall, And getting all the stuff that has fallen behind the laundry machine. I used a grabber stick and got bottles of laundry detergents and softeners, plus an item of clothing. By that time I was too tired too do anything for a while. Put away laundered clothes Texted with my doctor re INR Results and how this week I will be taking the test on Thursday Ordered a hearing aid myself figured out which turmeric and d manometer I will buy afte my m8ni vacation started choosing clothes for trip plus spen way too long trying to find a red medical bag like I had for years and lost somewhere. Amazon was useless. I don't want hook, don't want a cross because except for the Auvi Q, it is just for stuff for me. to do halve lots of pills Make bedroom usable Make baked potatoes and salad for dinner Enjoy Mardi Gras
  2. Glad you are out anx I am snother one got Florastor.
  3. They really heloed mt daughter and my son. They both got genes that almost all anti depression paych meds don't work and both are depressives. What doez work are very old drugs They tried many drugs but either they didn’t help at all or they actually made them much worse.
  4. Apparently a nentally ill person with a lengthy crumindl history who was divorced from a Jewish guy and had antisemitic writings and a sticker on the gun that said Palestine. Apparently b9yh her mother anfd her attended the church at some time. The 7 year ild boy was her son and he is on critical condition hav8ng been shot in the head
  5. No, I d9o not think she is slutty. I don’t like her music but what I was talk8ng about was that others say that do many if her sings are about break-ups and have heard that those songs are based on her experiences. I never heard of Travis Kelce or his brother until this year. I watch college football, not NFL for a number of years. This year, I did watch the 2 plsy off games too. So, no, poor relationships do not have to equal 'flighty whore' and certainly didn’t in my mind. As to her having a six year relationship, I don’t much aattention to celebrities. I may pay a bit more if I know they have an autoimmune disease like I have. But otherwise, it is mostly headlines I aee or some radio or tv or computer I walk by or is in a waiting room where I may hear a bit if celeb news. It just isn’t something zi follow.
  6. Great news! No clots in abdomen, the vents are working. Got a mocha and waiting for dh.
  7. Good morning! Had breakfast and took morning meds before dh took me to the same vascular surgeon in whose office k was in last year shortly after my long hospitalized thst took 4 hours and I was there e ddil and dgs which was a truly awful day. It is going much faster today. I have had Doppler of both of my legs but also abdomen too so I am worried I will need even more surgerie. I am already looking at 3 - carpal tunnel, shoulder fusion, and right hip replacement that spinal surgeon said would need replacing in five years back in Nov 21, as I was being wheeled to surgery. Get dh to drive me home or take Uber or Lyft. Get correct fax # for Army doctors. (I wrote down 6 digits I could read and 1 I couldn’t or maybe just left off. Drink lots of coffee so I can write emails, messages, etc to my primary carw, eyc, etc Fold laundry if dry. Have dh brinv it up later. Figure out dinner.
  8. I have only witnessed 1 road or I should say parking lot rage when we were leaving a Six Flags park in Vlandaren area of Belgium. I mention which part because we didn't understand what was being screamed. The younger group of people were having a fit with an slightly older carfull of people. An obviously drunk anc enraged woman got out of the younger group's carxanc keepd screaming and starts banging on the passenger's side window. The cat being attacked was fortunately able to leave since an opening in traffic lane out of park opened up.
  9. The elderly drivers who w can't drive w the traffic should not be driving. And this us spoken as a woman who has not driven for over a year though I am not elderly, just have a left arm that doesn’t work well, a neck that has had C5-C7 fusion, and am on meds that make it not a good idea to drive. For students, get student driver sign. But as to rural highways, is the speed limit on it reasonable? Is it a speed trap area? Lots of people are jerks.
  10. Not acceptable at all. People are also tying it to his $20million Pfizer contract. Not me- I kee0 posting anaebolic steroids in response. But he should ge5 a large fine and definitely be checked gor performance drugs. As well as brain damage- He has been in the NFL for 12 seasons plus years at my grad school playing football. But one thing I heard before the game was a psychology doctor who specializes in relationships explaining why he thinks Kelve/Swift won't last. Basically, because the chances for 2 strong personalities living apart w/ neither takiing a back role has an incredebly high chance of failure. Add to that Swift"s very poor record of relationships and then his twmper, fot whatever reason, and if I was a gambler and my state allowed gambling, Ivwould bet on break-up sooner or later.
  11. My banks have called me once or twice regarding fraud. But never for more or different accounts. And I have had bank accounts for about 45 years.
  12. What side effects of trazadone is he having? Because depending on what those are, it would effect what others to recommend.
  13. Happy belated birthday to him! Considering that in our family, we have some bdays that not only coincide with w/either exam time or typical vacation times, and then, of course, we were a military family, we routinely re-scheduled bdays and holiday celebrations too. And Amy, happy belated birthday to you, too. I did get more sleep and am in a much better mood. We are going to see a comedy- American Friends- that has a super high rotten tomatoes rating--dh was why don't I wait for it to watch on tv---I told him A) I love going to movies ever since I was very young and I do remember what I saw when I was 3, and b) I get super distracted watching on our big screen in our family room. He doesn't understand why I can hyperfocus on Netflix or Prime or TV much better on my desktop computer screen. (I have the combined form of ADHD) Reservations have now been correctly emailed to us Breakfast done Church done one load of laundry is drying and the other is in the laundry About to make lunch, then Barnes and Noble, Movie, and grocery stores

  15. Good night! Turns out dh has a mandatory work meeting at 14:00 next Friday. So we decided to go downt to the gulf on Saturday and return on Sunday. Google claims it is faster to go to Eglin in Fk than to go to Dauphin Island in Al. Both of us are birders-me since I was 7 and dh since he met me in college. The AF has cooperated very well w/ US Fish and Wildlife and there are at least 507 red cockaded woodpeckers there.jpbI called outdoor rec yesterday and th a clerk answering says she hears rhem all around the regular visitor part of the base. We have never seen or heard one though we have been in areas they inhabit. They have been on the endangered list since 1070. Go to weather day at UAH. More in morning. By

  18. I am still praying for you and your family. I am very happy that you went to the urgent care and that they had you go to ER and you were admitted and treated. All too many people die from strep because they wait to long to get care, including Jim Henson, creator of the Muppets.
  19. I got a bug bite in my face underneath my eye. Git an antibiotic from my doctor in the morning but had to be taken by dh to the er that night. Turned out that I had antibiotic resistant peri-orbital cellulitis. I wasvun the hodpitsl for 4 or 5 days. I am praying for you and your family.
  20. For some odd reason, at University of Cincinnati, the criminal justice dept was in the School of Education except we took zero education classes. However a few future teachers tried our to take our stat class - they all dropped out very quickly. I think it is so wrong for education majors to have that as the main degree. All too many teachers don't know not only math but a lot of other subjects too.
  21. My dd2 took college chemistry where there was online work like you are describing. She wasted so much time w the ccomputer because she was giving a correct answer but getting it wrong because they wanted ab extra space at the end and other completely idiotic problems. This was in her senior year and led her to pick a college that didn't rely on computer teaching and grading.
  22. I went up through analytical geometry and a teig class in high school then did Calculus 8n first year of college. Also did 1 stat class in undergrad and more in grad school. There is a video going around X and probably other media too of some 9ne ask8ng what is 4x15. None could do that and I know it may very well be selective editing, but how hard is it to ad 15"+15=30 and 30+30=60. I never thought I would have to use trig until I wanted to build a window seat to go in an alcove. The only reason we ever got to live in Europe was because the last officer was awful at math ( It was an account8ng off8ce for NATO) so they decided to require PhD in math or math oriented sciences and my dh is a physicist who had never had an accounting class or done any accounting. But it sure was easier to teach a person w very good math skills accounting than to have a person bad at math there. Having a good command of math helps me all the time. I definitely use algebra alot and even use calculus.
  23. No, it isn't weird. Two points, we are in a sort of both hot and cold WWIII. You know the bad alliances - NK, China, Iran, Russia, etc. Just this past week, Japan decided to start preparing for much less trade w China because of the relentless hacking they are waging. We are wel into the 21st century, and war is very different now. Russia keeps trying to sow division and does plenty of hacking. All of these countries are involved in fighting Ukraine, all were involved w October attack in Israel, and cyber warfare is part of the world now has been for a while,.There have been lots of warn8ngs recently aboutin rese in cyber warfare. And that does not even account for just plain criminals who are swatting al the time, sending in bomb threats from far-away, and plain stealing. Which brings me to 5he second point, the AARP newspaper had an article by a cyber security expert who had the same type of thing happen. He first noticed something was wrong when his bank called or emailed him replying to him about something he had never asked them about. It took him many months to get everything cleared up, He played detective and Gothic $400 back but the time he had to take to clear it up and change all the passwords, etc was worth a lot more. He said the criminals usually hack through the router. Just this last week, got a phishing text on cel phone about one of my bank accounts. Yesterday, Tunnel2TTowers called me because I was restarting donations due to change credit card and heir website was popping up w Philippine money as the choice of currency. You could change it back to US dollars but it obviously was something their IT people need to know. The women who called was so grateful that I actually reported it to them. I do tend to always tell companies and charities about glitche's and hacking, spoo I
  24. And it isn't just our border control that does this. We like to watch the Smuggling shows on the Nat Geo channel and have seen the same issue of needing both parents or divorced parents who aren't traveling to prove they have permission to let kids leave or enter. And I think it has probably gotten stricter. My son was 16 when he was traveling back to Europe by himself from college during Christmas break and didn't have a problem. But he did have paperwork from the US Military, his passport, military ID with his father's name, etc. And I only traveled with kids alone in the US, not overseas.
  25. I am a former top immigration student at FLETC, and my name is on the wall as such. I didn't read all the responses, but he may very well be in big trouble with the court and with immigration, depending on where this is all happening. Right now, with this administration, he probably won't be deported. However, I don't know where he is having this court case and how the judge will look at it. If it is a progressive judge, they may not care about his status with regards to divorce. The children definitely would need US Passports and probably could also want passports from whatever country he is from, but all with the wife's permission. Where he is from would also be a huge factor in the judge's decision. He, of course, cannot get a US passport. Is his work visa pending or his green card pending? But since he does not have a legal visa currently, he isn't here legally, or is he a so-called migrant who got employment papers? If he is the latter, his chances of getting the kids are much smaller. There are just too many instances of non-US citizens who even have green cards or dual citizens who take the kids, and the other parent never gets to see them again.
