Anyone in Landry Academy: Have your students been told not to email the teachers? My kids are telling me this is a new policy this year, but I can't find it anywhere, and the class recordings aren't available.

I think the American health care system may actually be designed to kill us all early through stress and anxiety.

Kid made fun of my kid in homeschool art class. So much for homeschoolers being supportive, nice folks. My kid was ok with it, but I wanted to smack the other kid up side the head. People different from you don't need you to add comments about what you think.

I turned on the heat. I was cold for hours under the covers. It was only 1 degree less than I was heating last year lol! But it's time to get out the blankets for nighttime.

In the last 24 hours we bought our first hamster, it escaped overnight, we found it behind dd's bookshelf, and successfully captured it. I'm starting to see why my mom never let me get a hamster.

INlaws just dropped in and the house was a mess! Clean dishes all over the counter from last nights washing, dirty dishes on both sides of sink, kitchen furniture out on the back porch so I could mop, fair project debris for 5 projects covering every flat surface in kitchen, living room trashed with toys, cards etc. After they left, I had a good cry.

8.5 hours of gymnastics per week is killing me. I can not wait until we are done with the extra summer workouts. Good news is that DD8 leveled up 2 times over the summer and will compete on the new level 3 (old level 4) this meet season. At least the extra hours have paid off!

I ran today- voluntarily. I feel sore but pretty proud of myself.

Finally someone interesting was at the door. Two boys selling chocolate bars for their sport team. A gift from the gods, I say. They knew I was out of chocolate and there is a snow storm coming.

Interesting that ds110 always has to go po*p right before we are to begin a challenging subject.....20 min later and i am still waiting....

I am down 20 lbs since joining the gym and getting a trainer in the middle of December. I am working out for an hour 3-5 days a week. I feel better and can really notice the difference.

14 yr old boys are so annoying....

Ds sees The Hobbit -> ds reads the Hobbit -> ds starts writing in dwarvish -> ds starts Fellowship of the Ring -> ds now does smeagol impressions and talks about LOTR for at least 2 hours out of every day. Is there anyway to stop this train?
