My vpn is turned off (I only really use it when traveling) so that can't be it. Nothing has changed as far as I can tell. It's happening on both my laptop and my phone when I'm home on the same wifi I've been using for years. Is this something from my end or a new thing with the WTM forums? It's not a big deal as it always decides I AM human, but it's new and I wondered why it suddenly started.

Of those pinned posts, about half were started over ten years ago. Could these be cleaned up in some way? Maybe make a pinned post that links to all the posts about courses/textbooks? That way the foreign language, math, great courses, biology, chemistry, physics threads could be just one pinned thread with links to each of those six threads.

When you choose "this forum" it only searches the subforum you are in. I think it's just a semantic difference.

 

It appears that now I only have the option in the search box of searching the entire site, instead of, for example, just the high school board.  Is this a new thing?

Or less if need be, where a user gets a chance to fix typos or make minor edits w/o getting the post tagged as "edited just now."

I hate getting those myself, but I don't love leaving typos either. And I'm a poor typist. I fix errors when possible.

A little grace? 10 minutes would be better than nothing.

ETA: And to prove the point, I typed "where I user" instead of "where a user" above so I suspect it might get tagged. Although as it has not yet "posted" (as new threads in this sub-forum require Mod approval, I wonder what will happens?

Maybe I will escape the dreaded "edited by" tag? We will see.

I can change it physically on each post but that's not practical when reading a long thread. At first I thought I had accidentally hit a keyboard shortcut but this is only on WTM, not elsewhere on the internet. I checked my laptop settings, Chrome settings, and WTM settings but there's nothing to indicate why this happened or how to fix it. Help please!
