	I am new here as of a few days ago and I somewhat understand how to use the quote when referencing someone else’s reply, but I do not understand how to put multiple quotes from someone’s response in my reply. I hope that makes sense and can someone explain please.

				Hi - my daughter is seeking to take the AP Latin Exam in NY and has been preparing for it independently since September since her new school does not offer the course. She previously studied Latin for the 5 prior years at a different school. I have been trying to find a school to allow her to take the exam on-site. Most of them are initially open to the idea but quickly realize that due to a new in-class portion of the exam they are not able to do so. This is the first year that this new exam format is in place. Has anyone here had any experience with this?

It was discovered by happenstance that strings of text that look like they could be email address are automatically blocked and need to be approved before they post here. I have no desire to post any email addresses here, but to answer a point of curiosity, do you happen to know how long that policy/blocking feature has been active?

I joined to learn from this community and share ideas that have worked well for us at home. Looking forward to being part of the discussions here!

	Hi!
</p>

<p>
	We're from Georgia and are 2 weeks into our 1st homeschool year for my 9th grade son. He attended Stonehaven, a wonderful classical school, but due to the drive (1 hour each way) we decided somewhat last minute to homeschool this year. I'm using Ambleside online for the framework of what to study. Because of the rigor of his 6th-8th grade years, he could be considered a 10th grader. Could anyone help me with transcripts for dual enrollment or is that state specific? My son also has Dyslexia, so any recommendations there are helpful.

<p>
	I posted a set of books for sale in the Classifieds before I had read that there is a 50-post minimum for people to post items for sale there.  Whoops!  Sorry about that.
</p>

<p>
	I've been homeschooling for 17 years and live near Cincinnati.

	Hi. I signed up today after many years away from the forums. I used to frequent the boards more than ten years ago when I was schooling my older kids. My username back then was CactusPair. I'm currently homeschooling my youngest, a high school student.

	Hi WTM Community,
</p>

<p>
	My name's Andrew and I'm a HS teacher with 2 kids - 8 and 5.
</p>

<p>
	My eldest was reading early so I came across WTM while looking for resources to extend him. From the WTM series I use the Story of the World, but am looking for materials that align closer with the Australian curriculum moving forward. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
</p>

<p>
	My wife's Chinese (我也会说一点儿汉语) so we've had him doing some Chinese curriculum materials - the text that he uses is Jinan University's "Zhongwen" series, as well as iHuman (恒恩) apps on the iPad.
</p>

<p>
	Resource List Summary
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		Chinese: Jinan University Zhongwen texts, iHuman apps
	</li>
	<li>
		History: Story of the World
	</li>
	<li>
		English: Vic Curriculum Handwriting, phonics; most handled by school, but make reading suggestions; using ABC PocketPhonics with youngest (he's currently seeing a Speech Pathologist and Occupational Therapist; developmental/ADHD/ASD related)
	</li>
	<li>
		Maths: RIC Publications "Mental Maths" series, Khan Academy
	</li>
	<li>
		Music: Blitz Music Theory --&gt; Master your Theory; Suzuki Violin --&gt;AMEB Violin; AMEB Piano
	</li>
	<li>
		Spanish/French: Tutors once a week; Cahier des vacances,
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	Some areas which seem promising: RIC Publications, Maths Mate
</p>

<p>
	In particular, if there's anyone who can make recommendations for the Humanities/Science areas of the Australian curriculum, as well as resources for French/Spanish native speakers, that would be appreciated.
</p>

	A quick hello and thank you to the many experienced homeschoolers who have shared so much with this community! I know I am not alone in my experience as a homeschooling mom who has not had a real-life support team and who has turned to these forums repeatedly over the years for suggestions and direction.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I know I will have questions to ask as I approach high school with my DS13 in fall 2026, but I hope to engage with the community and offer what I can from my experience homeschooling an only child as a military family (so many moves, so many changes).

	I started looking around for some helpful advise for my daughter and happened on this site.  I looked around a couple other page forums but found some of their posts quite rude and nasty.  I am looking for somewhere I can ask for help and opinions without being treated like a bad mom.

	A little about me....I have been married almost 10 years and have a 7yo daughter and I live in TN.
