  1. You stole 281 cookies!

Rules of the game: if you find this (anyone except the cookie thief themselves) then post here to say "I caught the cookie thief! BUT... someone else took 282 cookies from the cookie jar!" That way we know this player has been caught and we'll look on another profile. Next, copy this entire post and paste it onto someone else's profile (player must have more than 100 posts and must have been active in the last month.) Lastly, change the numbers so each increase by one. It will be easier to track that way. Please post your findings in the thread entitled SOMEONE STOLE A COOKIE! Forum Game. Have Fun!

  2. Not getting a college degree is not the end of the world nor is it required of all the good paying jobs out there. Of course we want our kids to go to college to make their lives easier, in our opinions, but its not for everyone; nor does it always equal a large salary. DH is the only one of his 3 siblings to not go to college and is doing the best financially out of them all. His brother with a BA lives in another country illegally and sells souvieners during tourist season in Crotia, works as migrant worker during off season. His sister is the picture of what most of us dispise, 4 kids, 4 dads and loves the welfare system. She has an AAS. DH started as machinist right out of Air Force and is a programmer for one of the largest shops in Houston. IMHO the salary comes with the hard work you put into your chosen career and the area in which you live. I think others are too judgmental of your DD and they should hush. She should be proud of the fact she knows what she wants and has the courage and strength to go after it. Name the place I will come eat at her resturant.
  3. I love your room so inspiring. I miss having a school room. As my kids turned into teenagers they slowly migrated to their rooms for quiet and space.
  4. Take the time to do something special for yourself to recover for this. I am sorry this journey is not working out the way you had planned. I think it stinks that they do those things in the maternity ward, they never take into consideration the feelings of somene who is not there for a baby. I had to stay in maternity ward after I had emergency hyst. and lost my twins at the same time, its gut wrentching to hear all the happiness when you are sad. Hugs and Warm thoughts :grouphug::grouphug: Tammy
  5. Ben and Jerry's Chocolte Fudge Brownie--which by the way is on sale buy one get one free at Wal-Greens.
  6. I didn't like Rift. I really wanted to because WoW became annoying after the release of Cataclysm. I have been playing WoW for about 3 years and to learn Rift, which is so much like WoW it confused me. Both dh and I have gone back to WoW but I have changed my expectations of the game and only raid with my guild, pugs are just too painful.
  7. I forgot this!! This was super important for me and didn't learn about it till second son.
  8. 4 here for me and I wouldn't have it any other way. First was an emergency but not really, ds hand came down before head so nerve damage was a risk. Easy recovery no problems. I was up and around in a few days, even left the hospital a day early. Second was a true emergency 2 true knots in cord and wrapped around neck, he was born with-in one minute of the time they told me they were taking him, I felt a large majority of that surgery. Recovery was long and painful but his delivery was harsh to say the least. Third was a planned c/s no more trying to VBAC. Easy recovery no problems again home and doing normal things with in a few days. Fourth same as third. As far as infection just keep the site clean and dry like any other owwie and it will be all good. I have never had a vag. delivery and I think they both have their drawbacks and bonuses that can be listed but given my choice I would have a C/S over a vag. delivery any day. No worries it will all be worth it when you are holding that new little wee one.:001_smile::001_smile:
  9. Morning Chores: Get dressed, take out your dog, make your bed, eat, brush teeth and hair, make bed and tidy room and be prepared for school. Evening chores: Reverse morning and each takes a turn with cleaning yard after dogs, dishes, trash and clearing table. Consquences for not doing any of the above results in loss of all things eletronic for 24 hrs. and in this house that is a big deal.
  10. I am not making light of anything that might be serious but when my kids were younger they liked to suction their drinking cup or drinking bottle to their mouth, if left there too long it leaves an odd, short-lived brusie; think hicky. Took me a while to figure out where the bruising was coming from till one day I saw oldest walking around like that and then I popped it off and tada a bruise around the mouth. I hope it is nothing serious and just kids messing around but if you are concerned definately take him to dr. Tammy
  11. I cannot even imagine the city/state coming in and telling me I HAD to medicate my child in any one way. I feel bad for her and her daughter how sad. I applaud the mom though for standing up for her daughter at all costs.
