Jean in Wisc
They are sending this spoof out again this year--and now it is in fancy Powerpoint! If you get one of those emails telling you Mars is going to get as big as the moon this August, zip a reply back with a link to snopes.com Every year this circulates. My astronomer friends always respond with a wry smile saying that if Mars ever gets that close, we are going to have more problems than a bright night sky. LOL! Janie
But, 7th graders--well, some 7th graders--are brilliant. They know everything! Especially when it arrives in their in-box. :) Interestingly, the most vociferous ones seem to be the most gullible. Glad you pointed this out, Jean!
