Am I missing something for 9th grade?

Recommended Posts

Bible - Teen Cummunity Bible Study

Westminster Catechism

Math - Life of Fred finish Beginning Alg, Adv Alg

Science - Apologia Biology

Vocabulary - Worldy Wise

Grammar - Rod and Staff

Writing - outsourced - not sure where yet

Logic - Critical Thinking: Building Thinking Skills level 3

Foreign lang - probably on-line

A couple Uncle Eric books but not sure where they fall.

TOG will cover history, government, literature, philosophy, art/music.

Is that enough? Is it too much?

I think you'll be okay. I don't know if you'll have a conflict with the writing of TOG and the outsourced writing course. I would agree to include PE and Health. One of my state's requirements is a Health credit within the four years of HS. Good job!

Your overall plan looks good. It's possible though that your math plan may be a bit ambitious. Beginning and Advanced Algebra might take the typical student two years.

She started beginning Alg several weeks ago and will work through the summer to finish, hopefully. But just in case she's not finished when it's time to start the next school year...

Since you are wanting to outsource for writing, may I suggest Write-At-Home (http://www.writeathome.com) which is a writing program that has a special course for Tapestry of Grace users! They work with you to incorporate the writing assignments given by TOG! How wonderful is that! Go to the website and click on "courses" on the top bar. The pop up bar will show "Tapestry of Grace" as one of the options, which will take you to more information.

Hope this helps!
