Quiver0f10
I was thinking of A History of the American People - Paul M. Johnson, but I'd like to know your recommendations. Thanks :)
LatinTea
...he loved it! In fact, he won't let me sell it; it's a keeper. I read quite a bit of the book. Mr. Johnson uses a conversational tone along with great insight into our country, especially from an Englishman! The only thing is you would have to flesh out actual events as this is truly about the people of American history. Events, such as the Revolutionary War, are spoken of within that context. No details on battles and the like. Margo

Catherine
thorough treatment of the topic. I used it along with a more textbook style book.
