shanvan
teaches how to apply algebra to everyday situations? Also how to come up with your own algebraic formula to solve a real life problem? I am evaluating options for JR/Sr high math. A close family friend just brought up these issues and I have often wondered. Anyone know? Chestnut
...is chock-full of real life applications and problems. I think real-life-applications are its main pedagogical focus. My son is doing fine with it, but I personally prefer the clear instructions and less clutter of Foerster. Let me know if you have any questions.
