stephanie
What are your favorite Logic picks for elementary ages? I have a 1st, 3rd, and 4th grader, and would love to do logic with them altogether. I was just wondering what would be a good overall choice to get those wheels spinning!
Sunshine State Sue
What are your favorite Logic picks for elementary ages? I have a 1st, 3rd, and 4th grader, and would love to do logic with them altogether. I was just wondering what would be a good overall choice to get those wheels spinning! My favorite is the Blast Off with Logic series by Prufrock Press. We've also used MindBenders and Perplexors, Grid Perplexors, and Venn Perplexors. I've got an only child, so I can't speak to multiple children together.

Alessandra
I'd add Stepping Stones (at RR) -- it is really out of the box logical thinking - I needed the answer booklet, even for the easiest level. Like otherposters, we also like the Prufrock Press books. For software, I love the Professor Fizzwizzle games by Grubby Games. Lori - those are great suggestions. I copied your list and have already started checking them out. BTW, when you say Crazy Contraptions, do you mean Crazy Machines? That is what came up at Amazon -- we love the Crazy Machines software. Lori D.
Geesh! I totally messed up the title of that software! It is: "The Incredible Machine: Even More Contraptions" by Sierra software company. See it at: http://www.amazon.com/INCREDIBLE-MACHINE-EVEN-MORE-CONTRAPTIONS/dp/B0006JJVS2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=software&qid=1236664668&sr=8-1 Wow -- that Crazy Machines looks REALLY great! Wish we'd had that one! Warmly, Lori D.
