Dawn in OH
I've always thought it was Mama. But it could be a geographical thing. My children call me Mommy and the toddler (who I still want to call the baby) calls me Mom-mom.

Hannah
But since that wasn't an option I went with Mamma because in Swedish it is Mamma so...:D Mamma is also the spelling in Afrikaans. My mom was Mamma when I was little, and Ma as I grew older. My sister's English-speaking children call here Mamma. It is pronounced similarly to the Mamma in "Mamma Mia". We use Mommy at home, but I'm slowly turning into Mom.
Rhonda in TX
I would spell it Momma if those were the two c hoices, but Mama would be what I have always used. ducking and running "Momma" doesn't bother me, but I personally would use "mama". "Mamma", though, is just wrong.
