Kimber
looked at The Life of Fred math books? Given the high standards by which you and your family choose math curriculum, I'm curious as to what you think of this series of books. I am eager to read any opinions you may have on the subject. Thanks, Kimberly :) In case you haven't seen them, here is the link.
Myrtle
I don't know anything about that series and I really can't tell anything by looking at the TOC.
Kimber
Thanks for answering, I was afraid you'd say he's a quack. But that didn't happen, so that's good. :) Thanks, Kimberly
Susan in IL
I think that if you ask this question over on the high school board, you might get some answers. I know that the topic has come up on the old boards. Can you still search them?
Charon
Thanks for answering, I was afraid you'd say he's a quack. But that didn't happen, so that's good. :) Thanks, Kimberly Much better to find out your algebra program sucks on the front end than on the back end. Personally, the TOC looks pretty mundane and conventional. I doubt it's super special, but there is no reason to think it is teaching textbooks or something, either, just based on the TOC.
