ExcitedMama
I am leaning towards RSO over ES based on the samples. Any preferences? Or something else I should consider?

Hobbes
We've liked RSO Chem with a 10 and 8yo this year. I do find it's worth skipping superfluous lessons, occasionally they don't contribute much to overall understanding. But it's good stuff! ETA: the units build on each other and it's nice to have previous posters, etc, in full view as you're working through new lessons. I didn't wanted it all over my walls all the time, so I bought folding presentation boards for each of them. They are adding to the boards as they go and it's been a nice way to create a useful reference point for science time. Trilliumlady
Oh, the trifold idea from above is great, I might need to implement that..... we are using RSO chemistry for my fourth and second graders and while I wouldn’t say I love it (because I just don’t love science,) I love that it is getting done and hopefully they are getting a decent exposure to the concepts (which was my main goal as this is the first year science is actually getting done!)
