Already done: fed pets To do: pray, post, do some follow up stuff on co-op classes and certamen clean kitchen put stuff out to the curb for pick up and label Lupus Foundation get ready for floor guys for the basement repair from flood Make some kind of breakfast Dh has been complaining about our delapidated couch in our family room for a couple years now. In the flurry of spending on our flood he's decided we need to go to a Presidents' Day sale and buy a new couch. Get 19 to community college class and back again. We are back home and going to do some stuff around the house and head to the beach on Wednesday. My dad and younger sister are there, so we'll spend a few days with them. Took puppy out into the freezing cold and watched her pee and poop [emoji90]. Came in. In the few minutes it took me to make my bed she pooped again. Sigh. But fortunately she chose a vinyl floor. Cleaned that up. Fed the puppy. readinmom Posted February 19, 2018 Share Posted February 19, 2018 Morning, all! Slept in this morning, no work today. Dh's brother was in town yesterday, we all met for lunch a ways from our house. MIL fell, dh and I team drove back to our house to make sure she was steady on her feet. We wound up driving them home (2 cars) 250 miles round trip. A lot of driving... It's still a working day for me, but my clients are banks, nonprofits, and government, so it should be pretty quiet. The auditors will be busy though. :P Don't worry, I have plenty of work! Slept in. Texted with kids' driver. Told kids what they need to do today. Got some coffee. A little exercise and reading and washed some dishes. Getting caught up on social media. To do: Lots of "work" work. Make the kids do their stuff. Laundry and some more house cleaning. Pay some bills. Update calendars. Read-aloud. Kids to bed. DS16 makes his high school baseball debut tonight, and he will be the starting second baseman and the lead off batter. I am a nervous wreck. Second try is cooling in pans now. Eta: Woohoo! Came right out. :hurray: Showing my Ds how to be calm and try again when something doesn't work the first time. Possibly more important than multiplication lesson and literature reading he did today. ;) :D The cake is supposed to look like a campfire when it is done. I'll post a pic later. I have taken her into the bathroom with me while I shower so she doesn't pee or poop on anything while I'm occupied but she whines the whole time and it stresses me out! I have loaded the dishwasher. Now I need to run it. And I need to do my laundry thing. I have brought the garbage bins and recycling bin up from the curb. I have put the overflow that wouldn't fit for this morning's pick up in the recycle bin. I have done some more black berry slashing while Juliet ran around and did her business. I saved my puppet theater from dh's great Schoolroom of Doom Purge of 2018. I only know how to do this from a computer not a phone. Beside the Post button, click on More Reply Options. You can attach files below the comments box. It is snowing and we have about 3 inches of powder, but the road are very slick and starting to be snow packed. Dd2 will be hoping for a snow day tomorrow! Pink and Green, I hope the debut went well. We got a lot done in the garage today, but there's still more to go. We don't have any kind of outside building, so the garage ends up storing way too much. I got some of my bible study done while ds was swimming Ds finished some school work but has more to do tomorrow.
