Selkie
Good morning! Heavy freezing fog this morning, but very beautiful. My horses' manes and tails were pure white from frost. •hurry through morning chores •drive an hour to Lowe's, pick up huge list of things we need for house project •stop at farm supply store for horse supplies. Boys need to get pants, too. •go to favorite Mexican place for lunch •stop at walmart for a few things •maybe stop at grocery store that has a big natural foods section (probably won't happen, I'll be peopled out by then) •tidy up house •make a big salad •dinner: creamy broccoli soup •read and watch Olympics tonight Edited February 18, 2018 by Selkie
Pink and Green Mom
Good morning! I worked the concession stand at little league opening day yeterday from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm and am still exhausted. I don't think I can feel my feet. I don't even have kids who play little league but DH is president and volunteers aren't volunteering. -coffee -DS16 and DH off to DS16's travel baseball tournament -workout (cardio, if I don't have too much leg pain from standing all day yesterday, or upper body weights if I do) -wring hands some more over what to do with biololgy and foreign language next year for DS13 (co-op vs. WTMA vs. something else) -depending on what time DH returns home, maybe some yard work (we had a major leaf drop this past week as new leaves came out on oak trees, back yard needs to be raked and we need to use leaf blower to get ton of leaves off pool cage) -DH and I are returning to strict Whole30 tomorrow so probably need to hit grocery stores and probably should do a little prep today -read (2 books behind in 52 week challenge), work on jigsaw puzzle, relax

SKL
Hi guys. I'm being a relatively nice mom today, because the kids don't have school tomorrow. I gave them a short list of things to do ... which they of course have not done yet .... As for myself, I do work tomorrow (and every day), so I'd better get on it! Slept like normal people. Sunday school & church. Cleaned the kitchen and some clutter. Caught up on social media. A little "work" work. To do: Lots more "work" work. Some reading, exercise, some more housework. Chase the kids to get their work done, later. Some bills and stuff. Want to iron a couple shirts. Probably needs to wait until I'm home alone, because I get flack whenever I do personal stuff instead of work. :/ Work on the kids' schedule through the end of summer. Read-aloud. Kids to bed. Work.
Selkie
Back from a long day of shopping. I am not cut out for it at all. :tongue_smilie: Everyone is still stuffed from lunch, so no cooking tonight. :thumbup1:
Selkie
Straightened up the kitchen, dining room, and living room. Cleaned main floor bathroom. Did 2 loads laundry and hung a load of jeans. Made a bucket of laundry detergent. Steamed 2 loads hay. Washed grain buckets and filled them with tonight's grain & supplements. Fed dogs & cats & cleaned litterboxes. Filled old kitty's hot water bottle. Now, for the last leg of my chores - feeding horses and bedding down stalls.
