KatieJ
I have been wearing Clark side zipper boots, but as winter wanes, I am looking for more options. I have been wear Birkenstock clogs for years, but I am getting tired of them as well. Today I am wearing navy starfish pants and I only have black and brown Birks. What do you wear with navy? I need good arch support and I have a high instep. Birks work, but there must be more shoes.
Carol in Cal.
Dansko sandals. I have an older pair that is kind of a honey brown color, with fantastic arch support. Or Fit Flops--medium level arch support, very cushy, dressier looking than regular flip flops by far. Or Bjorn flats. Medium arch support. Ballet shoe style. KatieJ
I have lots of options for warmer weather, but I still need to wear socks for now.
Carol in Cal.
I have lots of options for warmer weather, but I still need to wear socks for now. I wear socks with the Danskos and the Bjorns. The Danskos have a bit of a platform so they are good in the wet. The Bjorns have waterproof soles, unlike a lot of other dress shoes, but thin ones.
Katy
Skinny pants look good with any kind of sandal or flat, and they're increasingly seen with sneakers. Wear whatever you want, as long as it coordinates I'm sure you'll be fine.
PeterPan
Have you gone to the Clarks site to see what else you can find? My dd has high top of her foot and needs arch support, and she wears a lot of Clarks. She buys them from amazon and sometimes on sale from Clarks. She just watches for deals. There's also an offshoot of Rockport that she really likes. The name slips my mind. Found it! Cobb Hill. If the shoe has a strap across the top, she has to watch where they put it. She likes ordering from amazon, because they do free returns. She'll buy a bunch and keep too many. SaveSave Edited February 18, 2018 by PeterPan
J-rap
I'd wear some cute, comfortable loafers. Normally I wear black. But with navy pants -- maybe bone? (since warm weather is just around the corner!)
MomsintheGarden
All of the above would look cute. In addition, I'd look for brown or black loafers, or I'd go with navy Keds for a more casual look. See the Vivienne Files blog for ideas on stylish, comfortable flats to wear with pants. eta blog, not blg. Liz CA
I am also wearing Birks. My starfish pants are all gray and black so I can wear my usual black pair of closed toe Birks with it. I also need to look for another pair. I am sticking with Birks because I know they work for me but there is definitely a limited selection of styles.
