Earthmerlin
Anyone know which compilation of Calvin and Hobbes has a decent amount of strips with 'the bike'? You know, how personifies the bike, etc. as he tries to learn to ride it? I think it might amuse my daughter, who's finally trying to learn to ride hers. Thanks! Earthmerlin
They're spread out, kinda. http://michaelyingling.com/random/calvin_and_hobbes/search.php?phrase=bike Thanks for this. Yeah, I had already done a Google search w/o much luck. I will just probably get compilations from the library & dog ear the pages with the bikes strips. Thanks again! Hobbes
If you search Google images for "Calvin and Hobbes bike" you get a pretty good collection. I've been copying and printing a comic a week onto the kids' checklists, which they love. If you have a cheap printer, you could print a few pages of black and white. Or, save a bunch of images to a folder and let her flip through the folder on a tablet?

Noreen Claire
I'm no help here but, seriously, you can never go wrong with s complete set of Calvin and Hobbes books. My oldest two have read them so many times that they are falling apart. I may need to replace them! Earthmerlin
Thanks! Yes, we have one book and my daughter's just starting to show an interest. The humor's just slightly above her right now and we need to explain a lot still but I can see her wheels turning. I thought she'd get a kick out of the bike centered ones since (much to my dismay) she finds her own bike 'a force to be reckoned with' LOL.
