But we had a so-so experience with 7th grade Apologia (teacher was annoying but it WAS very well organized), that teacher is not there anymore. The teacher would almost literally read the textbook aloud and ask questions. Her expectations for a formal lab report for 7th graders was so over the top he failed one, and then the second one was said to be college-level, by our friend that teaches at the local university. She was also just plain annoying. She is gone now though. For Biology with Apologia Academy son had an AMAZING experience with their Biology teacher. She was extremely kind, thorough, pretty good at not boring the students (her lectures did not just repeat the textbook), and she brought in videos, clips, and presentations from other sources to make it interesting.
