Just curious...

Dd 3 is the youngest. She sees her big sister do school, and wants to do worksheets like her. And she sees her brother come home from preschool with worksheets. Wanting to be like her older siblings, she periodically gets copies of worksheets, and starts writing. She's writing letters all on her own, completely unprompted. The thing is, she can write the letters T and P -- they are formed correctly, but they are upside down. Is this something I should monitor, or is it just something 3 year olds do?

ETA:The worksheets are just whatever her 8yo sister happens to be working on (mostly math). They have nothing to do with writing letters at all.

That’s normal and even writing them backward is normal through around age 7.

It takes special skill to write the letter T backwards :)

But yeah, what everybody else said. She's never had to think about position before, so of course she doesn't think about it now. Be sure to save a picture or two for posterity!
