Alicia64
Thanks to those idiots in SoCal the world of homeschooling badly needs a voice coming from our world of reason, wisdom and great humor. SWB's new book Rethinking School. The review of her book is on page A13 titled, Deciding Against the Paper Chase. One thing I didn't know: does she no longer teach at William & Mary? Not that I would blame her. She clearly has a full plate. I love SWB's dry humor. Alley P.S. Where's the champagne popping emoji??

gaillardia
Your local library probably carries a subscription to the WSJ. Maybe you could read it there, PeterPan. I plan to read it at my local library.
displace
I actually saw the article through google, so maybe you can too. I thought the link was wacky because I read it already. Maybe this? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.wsj.com/amp/articles/review-deciding-against-the-paper-chase-1516044311 ETA - maybe not. Sorry! I tried! I was trying to be helpful but it wasn’t. Sandwalker
I can read it as long as my browser is in secret browsing mode. (This is probably slightly unethical, however.)
