HollyDay
Youngest dc started college this week. Oldest gets her AA this spring. Life moves on. I'm so proud of both! Oldest is Phi Theta Kappa, International Deans List. 4 year universities are calling and setting up tours and scholarship info sessions. Youngest is so excited about math classes. I guess they had a pretty good high school teacher :)

HollyDay
Thanks!! I do really miss homeschooling. It was my focus for 18 years. And now it is over. Quite a transition!! But, it is wonderful seeing them excel. Having that confirmation feels great. Now when someone asks if homeschooling really "works" and "prepares them for college," I can say that from personal experience, it does.

Chris in VA
Awesome! Right now, I am sitting in West Va University's art building as I wait for dd's audition for their music ed program to finish. Next year will be so weird with her gone! gardenmom5
congrats. I remember when 2ds (the youngest at the time) started elementary, then middle school. my car felt empty, and I kept looking around to see who was missing.
DawnM
Yay. My oldest was a Phi Theta Kappa member as well, although he didn't participate in their events. He just started 4 year school with 2 pretty decent scholarships.
