maize
My 3 year old's most requested meal: "a sandwich that has nothing in it" aka a slice of bread folded in half. What funny things do your kids do or like?
BarbecueMom
White rice, sprinkled with dried parsley and Taco Bell mild sauce. The only way one of my kids will eat any rice. We go through a bottle of Taco Bell mild sauce a week.
Elizabeth86
My kids like some odd things, but I'm drawing a blank. When we have sausage and biscuits my 4 year old puts the sausage and biscuit together like a sandwich with ketchup.
Starr
My dd didn't like cocoa at one point and would drink cold milk with whipped cream at coffee shops. :D
katilac
"Tomato on, tomato off" sandwiches. dh and I eat tomato sandwiches all the time in season. When the girls were smaller, they liked the tomato flavor but not the actual tomato, so they started requesting "tomato on, tomato off" sandwiches - make the tomato sandwich as usually with toasted bread, mayo, and slices of tomato. Put it together, cut in half . . . and then remove the tomato, lol.

What funny things do your kids do or like? We could pair your dc with my dd who likes the sandwich with just the meat.

He likes cocoa. Meaning, the idea of cocoa. He doesn't want to actually drink it though. Just to look at.

Carrie12345
Some of my kids have LOVED sushi since toddlerhood. These same kids like square frozen pizza just as much. None of them will eat anything Chef Boyardee, but they wish I'd buy boxed mac and cheese. One of my sons considers ketchup to be too spicy and won't eat hamburgers, but he'll devour taco seasoned ground beef, by itself. Hell also eat baked potatoes and French fries, but not mashed or broiled.

I would never order it myself that way, but with a group I am happy to flick the peppers onto the next slice and just enjoy the heat from the residual juice. Everyone I eat with is happy to have extra peppers.
