bibiche
Does anyone have a recommendation? Can't be non-stick and I think I would prefer a non-electric model.
umsami
I've watched them on Amazon, but never taken the plunge. We have an ice cream/takoyaki place near us, and it's such fun.
PeppermintPattie
Is it like an aebleskiver pan?
bibiche
Is it like an aebleskiver pan? I have never heard of aebleskiver. I'll have to try them! They look quite similar, but apparently aebleskiver pans have bigger alveoles, so I am not sure that would work.
Liz CA
Here is the cast iron version: https://www.amazon.com/Happy-Sales-HSTBT1-Takoyaki-Black/dp/B001DQDDF4 Haven't used one but you cannot go wrong with cast iron.
bibiche
I've watched them on Amazon, but never taken the plunge. We have an ice cream/takoyaki place near us, and it's such fun. Lucky lucky. Is it rolled ice cream? I haven't tried that yet. I did finally make it to Beard Papa's recently. Do you have one of those to go along with your ice cream and takoyaki? ;) Edited January 17, 2018 by bibiche
Amira
I just got an æbleskiver pan that I’ve also used for takoyaki, paniyaram, khanom krok, banh khot, atta appam, poffertjes, waina, ponganalu, and vitumbua. It is too large for some of those, but it really hasn’t been a problem.

Maybe I will skip the pan and just go to your house for dinner instead. ;)
