-school with DS13

-DS13 to dentist at 11:30 (grrrr)

-figure out something quick and easy for dinner that is whole30 compliant

-DS16 to baseball practice 7-9 pm (ugh he usually drives himself now one of us has to sit there and wait for him)

-read/5000 piece puzzle/relax

Good morning! It is super cold here, below zero right now and dd2 is not feeling well (I think she is on the verge of getting sick AND the cold just messes with her-can't get enough calories to fuel the machine and keep it warm), so she is staying home today. Ds2 starts classes at the cc today (finally-he has been crazy lazy) and ds3 is back to working pretty hard-after his own bout with laziness. I have to get moving today and do the things I have been avoiding.

To do:

school with boys

daily chores

laundry

oil change for the car

make phone calls and read while I wait

drop paperwork off at parish

if is is really cold-take ds2 to cc

jen things-

ds3 to tennis

ds2 to judo

Have a great day!

My big to do list

get the house back in order.   My family came and did christmas for the the kids on Sunday, 2 cars worth of stuff like last year.   :(

i returned most things last year, but this year all the stuff is without tags.

Now I have to find places or donate all this stuff.   So either way it is just a bunch of work for me.

Thanks

Then school and dance

We skipped dance yesterday because of the snow storm.

Prep cooking done.

Math, Latin and piano done. I need to check dd's work.

Been out to walk and sled, but the sledding hill is running slow. Too cold to stay out long. Kids are having cocoa and pretzels and reading.

This afternoon, Dd needs to do more math (quick turnaround for M/W online class) and read some history.

I think we'll end up watching a movie after round 2 of outdoors.

I have not been to the grocery since Thursday, so dinner will be a hodgepodge.

Grrr.  I know that I  had another folder with more Japanese units around here but I can't find them.  Sigh.  I've assigned something for today that is appropriate but now I need to still figure out what is going on from this time forward.  I am working so hard but things have been so disorganized for so long that it is really hard to dig out.  And I have so many plates in the air that I can't just stop all of the other stuff to work on this.

Deep breath.  My "just keep swimming" thing is to keep on my rotation otherwise my other spinning plates will fall.

Kitchen - hand washing, wash down counters.

laundry - put wet clothes in the dryer.

start another load of laundry

paperwork - grade algebra

Good afternoon! Taking a break for a moment here.

Most of ds' school is finished. He needs to write 2 paragraphs but has to leave for swim soon.

Tutoring went well. My algebra student said that he thinks graphing equations might be fun!

Dh's academic team meet was cancelled, so he's taking ds to swim. I'm going to bible study.

I'm about to start cooking dinner, which they will eat when they get back. It's white chicken chili tonight.

We just got back from our (much longer than I was hoping for) meeting with the lawyer.  Ran all my errands and stopped at the grocery store.

Since I got home, I've gone through the mail, tidied up the main floor, and started a new load of laundry.

I'm trying to figure out the best strategy for getting two kinds of medicine into my horse's eye. He hates anyone getting near his eye and swings his huge head around and you have to be careful not to get cracked in the face. In the past, he's only needed one kind of medicine and you could dab it in there quick and be done. But two is going to be a challenge. :tongue_smilie:

Took a break to play games for a while on my phone.  But now I need to get back to it.

kitchen - clean kitchen range.  Also planned dinner - red beans and rice and made out my grocery list.

laundry - folded and put away one load

paperwork - Arrgh!  The instructor guide for the A & P lab manual must be a different version because it doesn't have the answers to this review sheet in it.

OK - got half of it graded by reading the book on my own but now I have to stop to take dd to babysitting and to then go to the store and library.

It has not been good here and I am hurting. I found two head's-up pennies in places they weren't expected today and I thought maybe it was a good sign. I am just really, really tired.

All done. Done with math, sledding, laundry.

About to go see what odds and ends we can cobble together for dinner.

Then reading and/or board games. Nixed the movie for tonight b/c tomorrow is still a school day, and one with an early start and some unpredictablility in the schedule. On time to bed is good for everyone.

thanks, Selkie. I'm out of the boot for the most part- I was told I could "progress" to real shoes, but basically, as long as I am not doing a lot of walking, I wear tennies or something like them. It's better for the rest of me :). I wear the boot and a low-heeled shoe for distances. Still sore, but I can walk through on it okay. I have some therabands to work with. I see ortho again in the beginning of February.

Hope you feel better, pumpkin spice!!

Back from bible study.

My tutoring student isn't coming tomorrow since schools are called off. Her dad is a teacher. Dh will be home, too. Ds will still have to do school, though.

thanks, Amy!

Tomorrow I am getting back to things I've let slide the last few weeks. I've noticed a little bit of depressive-ish behavior and I am nipping that in the bud.
