Right. She said 3 is enough. Then she published the grammar books, now the Rethinking School book. Wonder when she sleeps!?

Thanks for telling me. I was planning a possible writing sequence and thought maybe I missed something.

In my house, WWS is super meaty and is going to take us 4 years to get through anyway. My dc just can't (yet) produce at the pace she sets.

We went through WWS 1 at half speed over two years. We won't quite finish WWS 2 by the end of this year (7th). We're just kind of taking it as it comes. Some "weeks" take us two or more weeks. My plan is to finish WWS 3 by early-mid 9th grade and move into our high school curriculum (not entirely sure what that will be yet).

We took 4 years to cover 1-3 in grades 5-8.  I did not formally modify the schedule, we just worked through each book until done.  Some "weeks" took well over a week and others took less.  Looking at my records, dd got through most if WWS 1 in 5th grade but WWS 2 and 3 took three years total.  We also took breaks whenever another subject had a writing-heavy spell.
