Good morning Flyminds!

Welcome to the Flylady support thread. To find out what Flylady is: http://www.flylady.net/ You can also find people on YouTube if you search for it.

We have completed the baby steps found here: http://forums.welltr...nday-october-1/

We have also completed a Building a Control Journal series found here: http://forums.welltr...-16-tue-oct-24/

If you would like to share your small accomplishments on instagram, please do so at #wtmflylady

Flylady Babysteps:

Day 1 - Shine your kitchen sink!!

Day 2 - Dress to shoes!

Day 3 - Exploring the Flylady’s website!

Day 4 - Write things down!

Day 5 - Write down what you hear

Day 6 - Hot spots!! http://www.flylady.net/d/getting-started/31-beginner-babysteps/day-6/

Set a time for 2 minutes and tackle that clutter area in your house that is driving you nuts! Just be sure to stop at 2 minutes. We are not burning out, we are just making a dent. Slow and steady wins the race!

Need more inspiration?

This for me has been great! Setting time aside to tackle areas in my house that were driving me bonkers. It sounds like not much but after time it becomes not a problem area and that is a GREAT feeling!

An overview of the whole 31 days.

I am on baby step day six: work on a hot spot for two minutes. Hmm...which one do I choose? πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

Choose the one you see most often that makes you feel bad. Mine is my dining room table. It's a major hot spot in my kitchen/dining area. I try cleaning it every day but some stuff I am still using so it needs to stay out.

I was going to choose the top of my dryer, but my husband and I ended up spending two hours cleaning out the entire laundry/mud room. πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

We got rid of tons of stuff...like three huge trash bags full! I have wanted to do this job for years. I can't believe it only took us a couple of hours.

We are going to repaint the room and put down some new inexpensive flooring. That crazy room has been my nemesis for years, and it feels amazing that it will soon be a room I actually like to use. 😊

:hurray: That's quite an accomplishment! Good for you! Now add a 'laundry room tidy' in one of your daily cleaning lists and each week you'll touch it again and it will stay nice.
