SeaConquest
I just took the TEAS over the summer, and I recommend joining this FB Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/ATIteas6/ It helped me so much, and they have tons of free study materials in the group files. I also recommend the ATI TEAS 6 app. Good luck!
samba
Thank you SeaConquest! I wouldn't have thought to check Facebook. Did you order any of the official prep materials or practice tests?
SeaConquest
Thank you SeaConquest! I wouldn't have thought to check Facebook. Did you order any of the official prep materials or practice tests? No. I didnt. All of those are in the files of the group, anyway. I just used the app. Scored 99%. Took it after I finished anatomy and physio, but before micro.
samba
Thanks! Had you already taken A&P 2 or just 1? Dd wants to take the TEAS next month while she's in A&P 2. Micro won't be until Sept.
SeaConquest
I took Anatomy and Physio as separate classes, so I had completed both. I would honestly not take the TEAS until she is done with all of A&P unless she feels like she already knows the info and is just brushing up with the review materials. The test is not difficult, IMO, but the science section is weighted fairly heavily and seems to give people the most trouble. I would also look at how well she needs to score for her program. Nursing schools are ridiculously competitive in San Diego, so I had to score high to have a shot. That may not be the case in her area.
