Elizabeth86
I have one more baby item question tonight. I have an ergo from dd and I love it, but she was a small baby in fall and winter. I'm thinking it might be a bit warm for a spring/summer small baby. Any tios for keeping baby cool in an ergo carrier or is there a cooler carrier? Guest
I bought a Moby wrap for my first baby that I used constantly with this one - life saver. Then I found a version for swimming on Amazon. It’s made out of mesh swimwear type material and it was so cool! Kinda like this one: Beachfront Baby Wrap – Versatile Mesh Water & Warm Weather Baby Carrier | Made in USA with Safety Tested Fabric, CPSIA & ASTM Compliant | Lightweight, Quick Dry & Breathable (Caribbean Blue, OS) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AGJ362E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_zXinAbZCYXZ3R
nixpix5
I used a Moby wrap and it worked splendidly in all weather. I am in the PNW though so take that for what it is.

Tanaqui
I used a woven wrap (not a Moby - moby wraps are stretchy) throughout summer and all when the kids were little. *sniff* I still have it! Alternatively, ring slings are great, but be sure that you're buying from a reputable maker and also that it's not a "bag style" sling (if they even still sell those). Elizabeth86
On the topic of moby wraps... i used one for my second ds, but he was over 20 lbs by 4 months and it felt lime it stetched out quickly while wearing him. I griw giant babies, so I am looking to avoid this problem too.

If you like the wrap, try a non-stretchy woven wrap, like a Didymos or a Girasol, or a gauze wrap like a Bali Baby Breeze or a Calin Bleu. I was wearing my kiddo in a wrap routinely until she started pre-k, and occasionally up until age five and a half.
