gifts for little girls that love dolls?

My nieces are 5 and 7 and love dolls. American girl dolls, those dolls that eat and poop, cabbage patch dolls, barbie dolls, you name it. Need gift ideas? I was thinking maybe a doll that fits human baby clothes? Or? They already have strollers/nursery stuff, etc.

Dollwearing isn't a bad idea - they could each get a ring sling and a wrap or mei-tai. If they have strollers and nursery stuff, would they like to expand their pretend play options to, say, a toy kitchen so they can cook for their dollies? Do they have a dollhouse? You can get some very nice wooden ones nowadays. Do their dolls need winter clothing?

If they have American Girl Dolls, the My Generation horse from Target works really well with them.

I was going to suggest a doll ergo carrier too. I don't have one yet, but dd will get one when the baby comes along.

I purchased a baby ergo from Pottery Barn Kids this year. They have a hanging high chair that fits on the table and other stuff.

 

What about a diaper bag set?

What about paper dolls? There are some beautiful ones out there, especially by Dover. I like the Jane Austen ones.

Do they have those posable Corolle baby dolls that are so cute and natural?  Tendre Calin is the name.  Then you can buy them clothes for them for a while.

A wardrobe to keep the doll clothes in was a hit here. Also a doll hairstyling chair (Target) was very popular.

Mine's only three, but she LOVES wearing her "special baby".  Pottery Barn has a cute carrier, and I've seen them at Target, too.  She was gifted one the same brand as mine (Lillebaby) and that darn doll does a lot of grocery shopping with us.  I can't imagine how much more often I'll be clipping her on once little sister arrives.

 

The carrier is a big hit with older girls who come to play, too.

I just thought of another thing....doll seats for bikes. We added one to youngest dd’s bike and it still gets used everytime she bikes.

"Dolly and me" or similar brands sell matching clothing for girl and doll. That's always a hit! Matching jammies or matching dresses, maybe?

Anything from the Our Generation brand from Target fits the American Girl dolls. When my kids went through that phase, we usually got stuff from there, and occasionally one new real AG accessory or outfit to go with their doll as their big gift. They love the horse from Target as PP mentioned. 

 

Also, if you sew, making something special for their special dolls is nice. My mom would often sew an outfit or make a nice doll size quilt for their dolls.
