iPods for Learning Ally and/or OverDrive

My daughter uses an ancient one for Learning Ally. When you download the app it says ‘not compatible , would you like to download an older version?’ And then it’s fine.

We also use Bookshare which, like Learning Ally, has text displayed as you read. Bookshare is free, but the app you use it to hear it through an Apple product (Voicedream) has a one time fee.

Even the oldest iPods have Bluetooth so any cheap wireless speaker will do. Or use an old boom box with an audio in/ out cable.
