Chris in VA
Having a D&C today to remove a polyp. Can you share how your recovery went, if you've had one, for a similar issue (not for an abortion, because recov might be different)? PM is fine, of course. Guest
I’ve had two after failed miscarriages. The recovery was really nothing at all. Sleeping off the anesthesia was the only recovery I had. Good luck!
Janie Grace
Same situation as yours -- I had a bit of crampiness for a day and was tired. That's it!
JFSinIL
I have been knocked out and scraped clean of benign polyps a few times now - I'd get the now post-menopause uterus removed except thanks to scar tissue post car-crash etc. surgeon does not consider me a good candidate for trying to remove it. So scrap scrap scrap every so often :-( Recovery no problem, really.
bodiesmom
Echoing what others have said...recovery is pretty much sleeping off the anesthesia. I've also had several benign polyps removed and recovery has been the same each time. Those stupid things keep coming back though..... G5052
Shouldn't be too bad. Just count on a day of recovery, and you should be pretty much back the next day.
trulycrabby
Easy peasy; just sleep off the anesthesia, use pads for the bleeding, and take a pain pill if you have cramping.
