MrsRobinson
I have delayed formal writing curriculum this year for dd (9 yo 4th grade) in favor of free writes and other projects I've found online. (Like making a newspaper and writing a journal in the voice of a character from a book.) This kid is very reluctant, easily melts down, and just needed a break, ya know? With the 30% off today though, I'm thinking it might be a good time to start something more structured. Or at least have it on hand... Is Brave Writer a good bridge from what we've been doing to more formal writing? It kind of looks like it would be but I can't tell from the descriptions which piece I need. Definitely no copywork. We've got that covered in other areas. I guess I need to download samples when I get home? I just can't tell *how* loosey goosey it is compared to *how* formal it is. Any insight? Jackie
It could be. Partnership Writing is most likely the product you would want. However, be aware that Homeschool Buyers Co-op has a deal on BW products for years now, so there’s no rush to buy due to the current sale.
