SAT admissions ticket question

Recommended Posts

It doesn’t matter. The invigilator/proctor just compares the photo on his/her attendance list with the candidate in front of him/her. Your child do need to bring a photo ID on test day which won’t have a recent photo on it anyway. My kids passport photos were about two years ago when they took the SAT.

ETA:

My DS12 was asked to confirm his birthdate because he is tall for his age, taller than the invigilators.

As long as the photo on the admission ticket, photo ID, and the student who shows up to take the test all match, it doesn’t matter which photo you use on the admission ticket. My DS has taken a couple of SAT subject exams and used his passport for his photo ID. That picture was obviously a few years old. This will be the first year he’s had a driver’s license. The test centers only care that the student who takes the test is the same student who registered.
