Contemplating book - for Christmas gift

Has anyone here read The Alzheimer's Solution?

https://www.amazon.com/Alzheimers-Solution-Breakthrough-Symptoms-Cognitive/dp/0062666479/ref=as_li_ss_tl?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr=&linkCode=sl1&tag=blue0b02-20&linkId=0232f820ca88eae638fd79540bfd3d0b

I'm contemplating it as a Christmas gift... perhaps for hubby (whose mom has severe Alzheimers as related in several threads about that), or maybe for my youngest son who has studied and loves Blue Zones themselves.  Neither are particularly fond of reading though.  I'm wanting to know if this is a quick read with useful information they might like or if it's either too involved or too basic (stating obvious things) for them to want to bother with it.

The reviews seem good.

I wouldn't buy it as a Christmas present, because I wouldn't want to remind anyone on Christmas that a loved one has Alzheimer's. I don't know about you, but I like Christmas to kind of gloss over anything bad that's going on, so it can just be a fun and relaxing day.

But you know your dh and ds better than I do, so maybe you know that it wouldn't bother them a bit.

That's a good point and hubby and I actually never exchange gifts with each other, so this probably isn't a good time to start.  I may just decide to buy the book to read it, but probably after Christmas when we head south.
