Hydrocortisine cream, Benadryl cream, have heard windex works. In the future, keep tobacco around and wet a little and apply to sting for about an hour immediately after the sting. It pulls out the poison. I don't smoke but keep plain tobacco, no additives, around for this purpose. I was stung by a hornet a couple of months ago and it really hurt, but I put tobacco on for an hour and, aside from mild bruising, had no more discomfort and NO itching.

Do you know if this works for fire ant stings, too? The ants seem to love my legs. Benedryl works ok, but if tobacco prevents the intense itching, I'll go get some tomorrow!
