Good morning! Back from am practice, still have to read the paper (maybe have another cup of coffee?) and get the boys up. Regular sort of day here.

To do:

boys up

school with boys

grocery store (few items...I will have to hit some different places)

school admin stuff with dd2 in off period

help ds3 get dinner started

pick up dd2/swim/aikido

Have a great day!

Wow, it took me this long to get to the Tackle thread!  And I can't say I had something super important to do all morning.  :p

Gonna be a short work day.  For one thing, my "boss" is out of town until Friday, yay!

And I have parent-teacher conferences mid-afternoon.  Lord preserve me.  I never leave them feeling good.

Then the kids have activities all evening.

Done:

  • Got a few things ready for the kids' school.
  • Kids up & off to school.
  • Took out the garbage.
  • Cleaned kitchen, bathrooms, and some clutter.
  • Found and sent some photos to one daughter's birth mom.  (It was hard to pick which few!)
  • Signed the kids up for AHG pen pal program (first try did not go through).
  • A little reading.
  • Ate fruit and nuts - what a good girl I am today (so far)!
  • Social media, personal filing.
  • Arrangements for kids' fun stuff on coming 4-day weekend.
  • Some work.

To do:

  • More coffee aka mojo juice.
  • More work.
  • Figure out what to wear to the P-T conference.  Probably my usual slob get-up is not the best.
  • Check kids' grades.
  • Take a shower.
  • Go to the P-T conference, ugh!!  Blah!!
  • Drive kids to Sylvan (tutoring).
  • Hopefully walk for an hour.
  • Drive kid 1 to gymnastics.
  • Back for kid 2.
  • A little more walking or working.
  • Laundry.
  • Read-aloud.
  • Kids to bed.
  • Work / get caught up on personal stuff like:
    • Paying bills;
    • Applying for continuing ed credits;
    • Filing;
    • Send some tax paperwork to friend;
    • Set friend up with CPA for next year's taxes;
    • Clear some duplicate files off my computer
    • Switch to new computer;
    • Whatever I'm forgetting.

I should probably make a plan to be ready for travel, leaving December 20.  That means all my year-end stuff has to be done 12 days early.  Some things I need to do:

  • Attend / get credit for 24 hours of continuing legal education, plus additional education required for CPAs.
  • All accounting that can possibly be done through December - for about 100 entities.
  • All compliance reporting and loan servicing that will be due from now through January 8 - for dozens of entities.
  • Set up e-banking for several new entities.
  • Get visas for the countries that will need them.
  • Educational testing for one of my kids (and hopefully get / act on the results for the other kid).
  • Figure out medical issues for one kid.
  • Supposed to make another doc appointment for me.
  • Should probably finish my will already - it's only been on my to-do list for 7 months ....
  • Christmas presents.
  • Christmas photos.
  • Christmas cards.
  • A few birthdays in there too.
  • Anything we'll need in order to "pack light" for a 2.5 week trip.
  • Set up annual donations.
  • Set up any year-end tax payments.
  • Get school assignments for the 2 days my kids will miss.
  • Pay personal bills.
  • Back up computer to 2 external drives - one to leave home and one to take with.
  • Set the pets up with my sister for the 2.5 weeks.
  • Whatever else I'm forgetting at the moment.

some of your Done lists are impressive.

I should add to my list so I don't look like I do nothing LOL

AHG:  email people about upcoming fundraiser dance, create agenda for board meeting tomorrow, email units about homework for next meeting, plan unit time for next meeting

Done:  helped DH with paperwork to fix his wrong paychecks, grocery run for creamer, agenda for board meeting
