Most of our blankets and comforters for our beds are either hand me downs or bought on huge sales. I just hate spending a lot on stuff like that if I don't have to. I would like to surprise him with college/dorm stuff for Christmas. He is saying he is fine with taking his navy and red plaid comforter that is somewhat pilled and worn, but I would like to get him something else. His favorite colors are dark purple and black (a little of something else is ok), but we have trouble finding more masculine things in purple. Could you help me find a Twin or XL Twin comforter or duvet cover (I actually have a couple of down comforters, so maybe a duvet would work best) for him in purple or purple and black that isn't shiny or girly or otherwise really feminine? Or could sew a Tshirt Quilt for him. :) It is harder to find things with that Single XL length, but that is the norm.
