ValRN
DD went to Finland on a leadership exchange program this past summer. She lived with a Finnish family for 6 weeks and participated in different civic, political, and business leadership activities. Currently I only have this activity on her academic resume. Should I make it into a course and include it on her transcript? BTW, her majors of interests are linguistics, foreign languages, and computer science (if this will make a difference in your recommendation). Penguin
I would keep it as an extracurricular, unless she is short on credits.
regentrude
I would list it as an extracurricular so it stands out and she can give more details in the application, rather than have it buried among the courses on the transcript. ValRN
Thanks Regentrude & Penguin! DD is not short of credits, and we definitely want it to stand out. I appreciate your feedback.
