prairiewindmomma
Does anyone still use it? Is your catalog up to date? How many books do you have? I put my library into librarything in 2015 to inventory books before a move, and promptly forgot about my account. I'm attempting to update it. I had forgotten how much I really like librarything! Petrichor
I do, and yes it's mostly up to date. I just bought some books and need to add them. Need to bring them in the house, actually. I have enough books in there that I had to pay for my membership. A bit over 1000. But most of them are picture books.
historically accurate
I paid for a membership, and then promptly purged the books (and not the librarything account). I think I'd have to start over at this point.
Homeschoolmom3
Yes...I love it!!! I have scanned all of mine but haven't done all categorizing. I am up to 1800 books....eek and that is after my purge last summer! I still haven't scanned my husband's collection upstairs which is close to 1000. They sure add up! :-P But all the books that I have are on there I just need to categorize them....one day! But it has saved me so much money because when I'm at a yard sale or library sale and look through books and think now I really wanted that book...do I own it? I can just look it up on my app and so I don't make duplicate purchases it is great!!! It was worth the few months of scanning them in! I HIGHLY recommend it! Homeschoolmom3
Oh yeah, I didn't have to pay for membership yet but I will when I have to...worth it!
Petrichor
I scanned my 15 or so new books last night, and downloaded the app just so I wouldn't have to take the books to the computer table. Found out that you can now scan books with the smartphone app and it actually works pretty well. Much better than ~4 years ago when I input the first 500 or so books. Out of 15, only one barcode didn't work. There were one or two other books I had to type the name of because they didn't have barcodes at all. Pretty cool.

Of course I have many old books and typing them in is a pain but it went so quickly with my newer ones just scanning the barcode! You will be amazed at how quickly it will go! :)
