Daria
Darn, I thought you had a still and weren't sure whether to use it. I was going to say "Fire it Up". I have no idea whether you should use the mouthwash.
Catwoman
No. I would throw it away and gargle with salt water, water mixed with peroxide, or toothpaste mixed with water if I felt I needed mouthwash.
MercyA
Definitely yes if it smelled okay. I'm sure I've *eaten* things that far past their expiration date with no ill effects. :)

Catwoman
 Off to google the ingredients... ;) I'm pretty sure it's alcohol-free, and that's why I was thinking it might not be safe any more. I'm only guessing, though.
MercyA
Here we go: Water, glycerin, sorbitol, organic aloe barbadensis leaf juice, propanediol, xylitol, natural flavor, benzoic acid, zinc chloride, menthol. I don't know. I think it should all be okay, except maybe the aloe juice? Does that go bad? It does have a preservative in it (benzoic acid). ETA: OP, have people been swigging it out of the bottle or pouring it into cups? If they've been using cups, I'd go ahead and still use it. :leaving: Edited September 17, 2017 by MercyA

Pick up some Dixie cups while you're at Walmart, Catwoman. Good white lightning calls for Dixie cups. Mouthwash for everyone and some Dixie cups. Check! Catwoman
Patty Joanna, let me know if you need anything from Walmart. Considering your recent history with people at the grocery store, you might want to stay out of Walmart late at night as a precaution. ;)

Catwoman
I would throw all the mouth wash away. Mouth wash has been connected to cancer Really? I had no idea! Is there a particular ingredient that causes it? I'm not a mouthwash user, but I'd still like to know about the connection with cancer. Barb_
It looks like risk is raised only with frequent use--more than three times a day. And that link is pretty controversial: https://www.nhs.uk/news/cancer/is-frequent-mouthwash-use-linked-to-oral-cancer/ It's probably one of those things the media has gotten hold of and overhyped in some areas.

MamaBearTeacher
I feel really ashamed of this major grammatical error. I just thought it was funny that it could be read 2 ways, and this being WTM I couldn't rule out that someone was distilling something for a science lesson.
