Roadrunner
I know regular SAT scores taken by middle schoolers are deleted unless you ask hem to save it. What about subject tests? If my middle schooler attempts an SAT subject test, does it get automatically deleted as well unless I ask them to save it? Or are those the part of the permanent record? Yes, they also get deleted unless you request in writing to have the scores retained.
Roadrunner
Yes, they also get deleted unless you request in writing to have the scores retained. Oh, that's great. We can try our luck without permanent record! Thanks!
crazyforlatin
It's auto deleted unless you ask to save it. We did the SAT Latin in 5th grade after Latin 2 to give it a try, but DD didn't have enough reading experience to do well enough, as we already knew; it was just to take an hour test to know what it's like for this year.
Arcadia
Deleted. Your child also needs a photo ID. "If you’re in the eighth grade or below you should not include a photo with your registration. However, you will need to have an acceptable photo ID to be admitted to the test center. There are also special rules about scores for eighth graders and below — keep reading. Scores for Eighth-Graders and Below If you test in the eighth grade or below, your scores are removed from your file at the end of the academic year you tested." https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat-subject-tests/register/special-circumstances/under-13-8-grade-below
crazyforlatin
We printed out an ID form from the CB site and went to UPS to get a notary and a photo. DD put a 💓 over the letter I in her name, but UPS said that would be ok.
Roadrunner
I requested an ID from our charter. We also have a passport, but the picture on it is a baby one. I am going to renew the passport.
Roadrunner
What about AP score? If I send him in to take a test and we don't like the result, can I have it deleted and try again when he is in high school? Am I pushing my luck now? 😋
