Mom to 3 Island Boys
My son finished SWB's "The History of the Ancient World," "The History of the Medieval World," and "The History of the Renaissance World," and we aren't sure what book to move on to. Has anyone found a good fit for what to study next? Thank you for any suggestions!
Hilltopmom
From there (actually, Renaissance wasn't out yet so we stopped after Medieval) we did: US History using Great Courses and the FundaFunda syllabus (required by our state), a British history elective (Great Courses), a WWII elective (Great Courses & a lot of other stuff), & then US Govt. and Econ (also required)
2_girls_mommy
I plan on using whatever she recommends in WTM. I have the 2nd and 3rd editions on my shelf and can check the 4th out of the library to compare and choose. Sometimes I pick from an older version because I can find the books cheaply on Amazon or something. I seem to recall even a Dummies guide to American History on her list, lol. But we are only on Medieval World this year, so I am not 100 percent sure.
