PeterPan
(58) Pinterest Here's a link to a picture on FB. It's a checklist, but it has little tabs that fold over, so open it shows red with a check and folded closed it shows green. I'm drawing a blank on how I would actually make this. Arcadia
My lazy way is just to use cardboard/construction paper and scotch tape. It does work but doesn't look as pretty. What I have seen librarians do is use felt pieces and felt glue or staple (furniture stapler) down to a thin plywood board.
Renai
It looks like the tabs are glued on the other side to fold over the edge. If you want the tabs laminated to the page, you'd have to run everything through twice. This is actually a great idea. My daughter keeps losing checkmarks.
kbutton
I think it was made on 8.5 x 11 paper, but they cut away between the tabs on the right margin, then folded them. I think it might be all one piece that doesn't have super stiff laminating material. Or, maybe they also score the lamination where the tabs fold over. It looks too skinny proportionally to be standard paper, which is why I think they start with 8.5 by 11 and cut/fold.

Brilliant idea to not have tabs get lost!
PeterPan
Yeah, I was hoping there was some other trick or way around it besides cutting around them, lol. We'll see. I'm working on adding things to ds' morning routine, and I liked that format with things you couldn't lose.

If you have to cut off the end, you can cut one big strip from bottom to top first, and then make slits, and then snip off the slits.
PeterPan
Oh duh, NOW it makes sense!!! You're right, I was thinking trimming away material around each one, which would be tedious and untidy. Your slit idea finally makes sense.
