Longshot-- but does anyone know a reliable way to ship boxes from UK to USA

My middle dd is finishing up her Masters a the University of Lancaster (UK) and needs to ship a few boxes home... she is having issues finding a reliable company-- anyone with experience who can give us the name of a carrier or 2 to look into?

Do you mean just regular boxes filled with things like clothing or souvenirs, or large crates with furniture, etc?

 

My children sent boxes home several times with extra clothing, etc., from various countries in Europe.  They always sent them through the country's regular mail carrier, and never had a problem.  Has your dd looked into that?

I used Parcel Monkey to ship some things to my sister that she forgot to pack for her flight home. Including her laptop. It arrived safely, and it was pretty cheap.

I've purchased items from the UK and they shipped royal mail.

if you want to look at other carriers (can be cheaper for bulkier items) - there's always the usual.  UPS, fedex, dhl .. .
