I had trouble finding this thread this morning and was getting a little bit rattled (how can I start my day without the tackle thread??). DD painting while I get some tea and check the news on my phone. DD wanted stories so I read some books Cartoons and breakfast, oh Saturday Mornings After hubby wakes up then we are going to visit some friends and family Need to go to Walmart Help DD clean up her toys that always seem to be everywhere Family game night. I got a request from one of dd1's teammates to make a pillow, so I will start gathering scraps from my stash for that. It is going to be in the 90s today...I am ready for some fall temps. I made a list of verse songs needed but I can't check the actual song portfolio because it is under the heavy wheelchair and I decided to wait until we got rid of the wheelchair before looking. Everything is shipshape and looks so nice now. •got all the old hay, manure, and assorted flotsam and jetsam out of paddocks •raked up a few million acorns (my horses like to eat them, but they're bad for them - and apparently the squirrels and turkeys are too lazy and well-fed to clean them up for us :glare: ) •thoroughly deep cleaned stalls & put down new bedding •scrubbed all buckets •tidied up tack room and hay sheds The barns are now much cleaner than my house. Dunkin for breakfast, and I don't care what anyone thinks of that. Kid 1 to horse riding. Kid 2 to math tutor. Haircut for me. Kid 2 and I answered 4 or 5 surveys about this year's summer camps. Watched short vid about eclipses with kid 2. Some online scout stuff. Filled leaking tire, got gas. Picked up Kid 1 from horse riding, took kids to lunch. Kids to swimming. Kids to library writing club. Listened to audio book during all that driving. Walked 6.3 miles in between all that driving. A little laundry, housework, bill paying, pet care, reading. Work - did a wee little bit, supposed to be doing a lot of it .... I have some more personal stuff to do if I don't run out of steam. Bout time to call the kids up to bed. Got glue sticks Took wheelchair back to rental place. Got gluten free graham crackers Gave key to neighbor who's going to take care of dog and cat. Packed all camp craft materials including more popsicle sticks.
