AOPS pre-algebra (printed version or online)

I'm about to purchase AOPS pre-algebra for my son and was hoping to get recommendations for either the printed or online version.  When I viewed a sample of the online version, there was an arrow that said "jump to solution" on every single problem.   Is that how it is on the actual online version?

I don't have the prealgebra online book. My kids have some of the aops online books as well as the softcover editions. The solution manual is part of the online book so there is nothing stopping anyone from looking at the solution to a problem before attempting.

My DS12 would either do a problem or KIV it but he doesn't peep at solutions. He would just tell me he isn't going to do a particular problem until later. He is my intense strong willed kid who isn't sneaky. He would tell me if he wants to look at the solution. He would stage a rebellion if I give him work that he has no buy in. So he choose all his curriculum.

My DS11 is playful and would peep because he wants to play. That is for all subjects so he gets tomato stake when he uses the computer. He won't peep at the softcover solutions manual but it is honestly tempting to just click at online solutions instead of attempting the problems for my kid that lives to play.

I got both. I can see problems with letting ds10 use the on line on his own but I thought it would be useful for 2 people to be able to work at a time. Also compared with the exchange rate and postage the extra to get both wasn't a big deal.
