People who rip recipes out of library (or doctor's office, etc) magazines deserve a special circle of hell.   Everyone has a phone. Take a picture of the dang recipe, or look it up online; most likely it's there.   No phone?  Write down the name of the recipe and the mag, and look online at home.  Or at the library computer, and print it out.  Or copy it on a piece of paper.  The options are endless.  Lazy cretins.

ETA: What was your point?  I got sidetracked.

I don't know. It struck me, her words and the pauses. I keep saying it to myself.

Like the time I was on a garden walk and at the house that has the open bar and hot appetizers. And the lady of the house walked out into the drive, tray in hand, and called out, " Claaaaams Casinoooo!" That happened over a year ago...it stuck with me.

Wow. Funny, although at a doctor's office I wouldn't have a problem with it. I don't personally do it but I also drop off all our old magazines at the doctor's office to get rid of them. I think the doctor's office has plenty to spare. But maybe the person should just take the whole magazine so as not to annoy the person who looks at it next.
