RegGuheert
I'm starting AP Chemistry three weeks early this year due to the length of the textbook and the desire to have sufficient time for prep in the winter and spring. Anyone else starting tomorrow (beyond year-round subjects)?
AFwife Claire
I sent out a "summer assignment" for my AP chem kids that I found online from some school distance. It covers the first 3 Zumdahl chapters, and it included practice for naming compounds, stoichiometry, and other concepts from those chapters. Plus they're supposed to memorize the polyatomic ions. We'll officially start with chapter 4 the Tuesday after Labor Day. I'm starting the kids in *my* house tomorrow though! We need to get back into a good routine at home before co-ops start!

That sounds awesome! The challenge here will be to get the twins to read AND understand Zumdahl. There's an awful lot of learning in that-there book!
