S/o American Girl Studies and activity books

Recommended Posts

The other thread reminded me I meant to ask is there any curriculum that goes along with the AG books? The other thread mentioned teaching some younger children too, any recommendations on age? I had Samantha as a child and only vaguely remember those books. I'm not sure if I should do a stand alone study with DD and the historical dolls or wait and incorporate them when we are doing modern history but if I wait that would be years and she might go from being on the young side to being too old.

Also does anyone use the doll activity books? I was shocked that my virtual charter let me order them. I'm hoping they count as consumable with all the punch outs. I'll happily use them as is since spending so much money for her would have been tough, but it would be fun to expand them too if anyone has ideas. I'm talking about books like these:

Baking With Grace $24.99.

Explore With Lea $24.99

Doll Travel $24.99

Doll Celebrations $21.99

Doll Art Studio $24.99

Doll at Work $24.99

Has anyone used these? Grace and Lea could be fun to use as country studies and add baking for Grace and maybe animals and the rainforest with Lea. I'm hoping that doll travel would be similar and have something fun for geography. I'm not as sure about the other ones. Obviously celebrations would be seasonal. I'm not sure if she's too young to expand on careers, maybe as interest led? I'm also not sure about art, which we do, if it references any specific styles or painters. Are these worthwhile for what they are? Thanks!
