38carrots Posted July 28, 2017 Share Posted July 28, 2017 I'm usually pretty intuitive about my dreams--no matter how twisted the imagery / symbolism, I can almost immediately see the meaning. Except this one. I was at a little store where they were offering manicures and I decided to get one. The lady spent quite a lot of time on my nails--they became long, thick and very very purple! Some with some designs! I found them quite pretty, actually. Then left without paying (I forgot) and came back and they were understanding and nice about it. The bulk of the dream was focused on the purple nails! Irl my nails are very short, never painted. The only nail polish I used about 18 years ago was either nude or clear. regentrude Posted July 28, 2017 Share Posted July 28, 2017 (edited) Not every dream has a deep meaning. Some really are just random assortments of thoughts which do not hide a deep purpose. I can certainly make up an interpretation: deep inside you wrestle with your self image and your femininity. The purple nails symbolize how you want to be more self assertive and have more confidence in your dealings with the external world. Forgetting to pay shows that you are conflicted about the experience, but going back to pay means that you have decided to stand up for this new found transformation. The lady being nice means that the universe reassures you that you are on the right path. But probably this is all popular psychology BS. And did your really long nails seem dog like? I'm not poking fun at all.
